WilliamThomas&Co. was founded by Alison Purdy — a compliance professional with extensive experience in financial crime risk at some of Australia's leading wealth and financial services institutions. Having spent years building, reviewing, and stress-testing AML/CTF programs at the highest level of the sector, the opportunity became clear.

The businesses newly regulated under Tranche II were going to need practical, genuine guidance — and not enough of it was available.
